The website is hosted by Cloudflare, Inc. (Cloudflare Workers). When you open a page, your browser automatically transmits technical data such as your IP address, the date and time of the request, the requested address and information about your browser. Cloudflare processes this data to deliver the website and to protect it against attacks; the technical logs are deleted automatically after a short time.

The legal basis is Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR — the legitimate interest in providing a secure and working website. Cloudflare may process data in the USA; Cloudflare is certified under the EU-U.S. Data Privacy Framework.

This website sets no cookies and uses no analytics or tracking tools. Fonts are served from this website itself, so no data is sent to font providers.

If you switch between light and dark mode, your choice is saved in your browser’s local storage so that it is kept on your next visit. It never leaves your device, and you can delete it at any time in your browser settings.

The website links to external services such as LinkedIn, GitHub and credential verification pages. Data is only transferred to them when you click such a link; their own privacy policies then apply.

If you write to me by email, I use your email address and message only to reply to your enquiry (Art. 6(1)(b) and (f) GDPR) and delete them when they are no longer needed.

The AI assistant answers questions about this portfolio. When you send a question, it is transmitted together with the previous messages of the current conversation to Cloudflare Workers AI, which generates the answer. This website does not store your questions or the answers; the conversation is lost when you close or reload the page.

To prevent misuse, your IP address is used to limit the number of questions per minute; it is not stored by this website. The legal basis is Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR — the interest in answering visitors’ questions about the portfolio and in protecting the service. Using the assistant is voluntary. Please do not enter any personal data in your questions.

You have the right to access, rectification, erasure and restriction of processing of your personal data, to data portability and to object to processing (Art. 15–21 GDPR). To exercise these rights, email atayanil@hotmail.com.

You also have the right to lodge a complaint with a data protection supervisory authority, for example the Bavarian Data Protection Authority (Bayerisches Landesamt für Datenschutzaufsicht, BayLDA).
