Fund Pricing
Kept a business-critical fund pricing application and its daily regulatory reporting running — built on the BIS Framework with C# WinForms and MS SQL.
Context
The fund pricing application produced daily reports for the Capital Markets Board of Turkey (SPK), and regulatory changes had to be implemented within tight timeframes. It was built on the BIS Framework: a C# WinForms client on MS SQL Server, with much of the business logic in T-SQL stored procedures.
What I did
- Delivered new features, bug fixes and regulatory change requests in C# WinForms, MS SQL and T-SQL stored procedures.
- Developed a feature that established a SOAP/XML API connection, which was used for system integration.
- Implemented regulatory requirements under tight deadlines.
Outcome
- Reliable operation and daily regulatory reporting — avoiding financial risk.
- Faster launch of new financial products.
